Micro grants for grassroots organisations giving support during pandemic

Essex County Council have just released some funding to support local groups helping communities to improve their communications and technology.

Micro grants up to £500 are now available for groups helping communities through the pandemic to improve their communications and technology.

The scheme was launched last week with £50,000 from the Covid-19 funding Essex County Council has received from Government to support people and businesses affected by the pandemic.

Grassroots organisations such as food banks, community kitchens and clothes banks can apply for the grants through Essex Association of Local Councils. The grants can be used to advertise and promote what you are doing and improve your online presence.

Interested groups can apply before 31 March 2021 by following the link to the EALC website
